Iona Abbey

This spiritual place of pilgrimage, had always been somewhere I felt called to visit. So at the end of my cycling trip from St. Andrews, I finally managed to visit this sacred site. My first glimpse of the fAbbey was from the deck of thge small ferry from Fionnphort. The weather was poor and visibility limited by the sea mist anf drizzle.. The abbey blended into the monotone landscape, hiding until she descided to pull through the mist in what was, a mythical, grand reveal.
