Biblical Deluge

Exploring the theme of weather and climate.

At the time of making this print, I had been musing over the idea of climate and weather. It was early February and, walking through the local town, I heard a man exclaim, "This rain is almost Biblical!”. This struck me as a piece of language that had been almost forgotten. As part of an exploration into climate change and the effect of white rain over dark shapes, the comment came to mind whilst viewing a photograph of a wet street scene taken in Oxford.
